Boulder, Colorado, USA, 19 September, 2024 ————– Thomas Schmidt, founder of Sepia Design Consultants Limited, was featured as a distinguished alumni at the University of Colorado, College of Environmental Design 50th Anniversary Retrospective. Schmidt was selected as one of 24 notable faculty, staff and alumni from the past fifty years since the program’s inception. Schmidt was additionally honored that a number of copies of his award-winning Bumbling Traveller Adventure Series “Sketching the World” book were donated to promising first-year architectural students, to inspire them to draw the world that surrounds them.
Award recipients attended a reception at the College of Environmental Design, and a subsequent dinner at Cafe Aion on the Hill. The retrospective was organized by Ms. Jade Polizzi, Teaching Professor, Program in Environmental Design, University of Colorado.
