College Station, Texas, USA, 25 August, 2024 ————– Thomas Schmidt, founder of Sepia Design Consultants Limited, was awarded a Rendering Award of Excellence in the Professional Category of the American Society of Architectural Illustrators 38th annual Architecture in Perspective international awards program. Schmidt’s award-winning piece explores an imagined environment where a father and daughter enter an ancient rotunda where each archway provides a time portal of different times of the surrounding environment.
The American Society of Architectural Illustrators (ASAI) is an international nonprofit organization. Membership is open to anyone engaged in the serious pursuit of architectural illustration—professionals, amateurs and students—from around the globe. Each year, ASAI invites its members to take part in Architecture in Perspective (AIP)—an international juried competition that recognizes the world’s best architectural illustrations. Submitted artworks may be created in any 2D medium and may include drawings, paintings, renderings, and digital imagery.
