Beijing, 30 March 2011<\/strong> ————– Managing Director of Sepia Design Consultants Limited<\/em>, Thomas Schmidt, AIA, LEED AP<\/strong>, led and moderated a panel session at the 7th Annual China Hotel Development and Financing Conference<\/strong> on March 24, 2011 in Beijing.  Entitled “Creative Design and New Technology,”<\/em> the multidisciplinary panel session discussed the interface and impact of new building and systems technology relative to the design of hotels and resorts.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Panelists includes James Freeman<\/strong> of FSC Architects<\/em>, Holger Kehne<\/strong> of Plasma Studio – GroundLab Beijing<\/em>, Craig Takahata<\/strong> of WATG<\/em>, and Randy Totel<\/strong> of KXA Architects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With over 600 delegates, the China Hotel Development and Financing Conference was organized by Horwath HTL<\/em>, STR Global<\/em>, and the China Tourist Hotels Association (CTHA)<\/em>.  The three-day conference was held  from March 23 – 25 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Sun Palace Hotel<\/em> in Beijing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
